The LESA Convention Dinner Gala is usually one of the highlights of the AGM. Out of state guests, especially those participating in the entertainment activities, are advised to arrive at the chosen Convention Hotel on Thursday evening or Friday morning of the Convention weekend in order to enjoy most of the activities. As host of the 2010 convention, The members of the Washington DC Metro area chapter of LESA USA Inc (popularly known as “The Awesomes”) are honored to be the host of the association’s 11th Annual Convention. Washintgon DC is not only the Capital of the most powerful nation in the world ,but also home to the United States of America's first Black President and the world's most fashionable First Lady as well as some of the world's most beautiful sights and impressive art. We are extremely excited and have been making plans to ensure that your weekend in the area leaves you with everlasting memories that will only add value to a sisterhood organization we all love and cherish

Our annual conventions have been grounds to not only share love, joy and laughter, but also engage in mind boggling discussions and undertake ground breaking projects that have come to define the goals and focus of nearly all other alumni organizations.

Our Convention Dinner and Gala this year follows a Black and White Theme. The Dinner and Gala tickets are now available for sale. Please arrange to secure your ticket as they are available on first come basis and we are conscious that our tickets sell out early and easily.
